A division of Minnesota Marketing

Dirtwork Digital builds websites for people who move dirt.

Websites, lead follow-up, and Google Ads for excavation, land-clearing, demolition, septic, and sitework companies. Built by an owner who runs equipment himself, with published prices, dated results, and clients you can call.

Why a division

The trade has specific problems. It deserves a specific answer.

Generic agencies sell "leads" and templates to contractors. Dirtwork Digital exists because Minnesota Marketing kept building the same kind of site for the same kind of owner, and learned what actually moves the phone.

  • 01

The owner is in the cab

Calls go to voicemail while the machine is running. A missed-call text goes out in under a minute, from the company's own number, and a person takes over from there.

  • 02

    The work already looks impressive

Most contractor sites throw the photos away. A mulching head on a skid steer says capability faster than any paragraph, so the equipment, crew, and finished work carry every page.

  • 03

    Shared leads burned them once

No lead-selling, no shared leads, no financed builds. The company owns its site, its domain, and its calls. Care is month to month with the transfer path in writing.

  • 04

Looking established is a pricing tool

A site that reads like a real outfit lets the owner hold price against the guy with one skid steer. That is the outcome the build is designed around.

What Dirtwork Digital brings

The website first. The rest stacks on when you need it.

Every price is published. Services are bought separately and stack without a bundle. Nothing is financed, so there is nothing to lock a company in to recover.

The most recent dirt-work builds, with the numbers.

Every figure carries its source and date. A 28-day window shows direction, not a year of jobs. Where a site is too new to have a result, it is labeled a build example.

Real crews. Real iron. Real finished work.

Every hero image on a Dirtwork Digital site is the client's own equipment, crew, or finished job, shot by us or supplied by them. Stock photography is banned on their sites and on ours.

How a build runs

Four steps. The homepage is approved before the balance is due.

1

We review what you have

The old site, the Google Business Profile, the reviews, the photos, and what a builder sees when they search at night.

2

You send photos and answer a short list

Services, towns, machines, crew, and the jobs you are proudest of. That is the whole homework assignment.

3

You approve the homepage

You see the direction on a phone before the rest is built. The balance is not due until you do.

4

We finish, test, and launch

Redirects, tracking, forms into the pipeline, the domain switch. Most sites launch within a few weeks of receiving your photos.

Straight answers

What we promise, and what we don't.

Promised

  • You see your homepage before you pay the balance.
  • You own the finished site. Care is month to month. The transfer path is in writing.
  • No surprise add-ons. Extra pages are $250 each and you approve them first.
  • We never finance the build, so there is nothing to lock you in to recover.
  • Every published number carries a source and a date.

Not promised

  • Rankings, leads, or a cost per call. Anyone who promises those is guessing.
  • A universal cost-per-lead on Google Ads. Some markets beat shared leads, some do not, and we tell you which.
  • Unlimited revisions. Two consolidated rounds keep the build on schedule and on price.
In progress

Two more before-and-after stories are being measured now.

Both started from the same place Shepard and New Wave did: WordPress and Elementor on shared hosting. Baselines were captured before any work began, so the after can be compared honestly.

Baseline captured Sep 1, 2026

A&D Land Services

A land services company whose current site scores 24 on a phone and takes about sixteen seconds to load. The flagship Dirtwork Digital redesign starts from that number.

Baseline captured Sep 1, 2026

Woodchuck's Tree Service

A Bemidji tree service and logging company that already ranks first for tree removal in town and has zero lot-clearing visibility. The redesign is the land-clearing bridge.

One company behind it

Dirtwork Digital runs on Minnesota Marketing's systems.

Same hosting, same lead pipelines, same reporting, same standard that runs every other site on the client work page. The division exists so a dirt-work owner gets an answer built for the trade, not a generic package with the logo swapped.
